Innovative Navigation and Argonics will be implementing and testing their systems on ships provided by WeBarge and Scylla. The testing schedule consists of multiple exercises with regard to ship(s) maneuvering, some of which have been performed in preparation a while ago in model scale.
Obviously, the full-scale demonstration is an important milestone within the overall project plan of NOVIMAR. Unfortunately, COVID prevents the original idea of an event with many participants onboard the two ships and live multimedia coverage. It will now be performed as a technical test with two ships. Extensive video coverage will ensure we are able to demonstrate the findings to our project partners and stakeholders.
