Argonics develops, manufactures, and installs tailored automation and control systems for inland navigation in the context of navigation and monitoring. Extensive practical experience of navigation automation and the profound theoretical expertise from the University of Stuttgart lead to innovative products which alleviate common problems of navigation. The product portfolio includes propulsion control systems for rudder propellers, rate of turn controllers, and automatic track-keeping systems along guiding lines. Alarm monitoring systems, tank management and ballast systems as well as GNSS tracking and fleet monitoring systems are also part of the product range of Argonics.
Argonics also offers mathematical modeling and simulation of inland vessels as a service. Beside the creation of the mathematical models the parameterization of these models on the basis of trial data is part of this service.
“Vessel trains developed within NOVIMAR can help the inland and maritime sector to stay competitive. Fewer crew and longer sailing times increase the efficiency of this transport mode. NOVIMAR enables small and medium size businesses to develop highly-advanced automation products which otherwise could not be realized.”
